Gel Pack

•  3" x 4" square gel pack is reusable for hot and cold applications and is non-toxic
• Gel pack has a cloth surface on one side that acts as a thermal barrier for the skin to eliminate frost bite and reduce the potential discomfort associated with the initial contact of pack to the skin
• Retains heat temperature for long period of time
• User-friendly, fits into palm of hand, flexible while frozen
• Freezes quickly for reuse
• Conforms to he contours of your face and body

Purpose: The gel pack is used to alleviate swelling and discomfort from:

• Laser skin resurfacing
• Facelifts
• Chinlift
• Cheek Implants
• Rhinoplasty (Nose)
• Blepharoplasty (Eyelids)
• Breast Augmentations
• Mastectomies
• Biopsies
• Dental Procedures

Cold Therapy

• Place pack in freezer for 1-2 hours
• Place cloth side of pack on the affected area, or if the pack is too cold, place into a sleeve or towel.  Treat area for 15-20 minutes or as medically prescribed.
• Remove pack and wait 1 hour before reapplying
• After application, return pack to freezer in flat position. Gel pack will remain flexible.

Heat Therapy

• Microwave at full power for 20 seconds (based on 600 watt microwave)
• Remove pack and check for desired temperature. If not warm enough, reheat in 10 second intervals, not exceeding 50 seconds.  NOTE: Overheating can cause skin burns or rupture pack.
• Place cloth side of pack on the affected area, or if the pack is too hot, place into a sleeve or towel.  Treat area for 15-20 minutes or as medically prescribed.
• Remove pack and wait 1 hour before reapplying

Caution

• Consult your physician before using this product
• Heat should not be used if patient has circulatory problems
• Do not stand or lie on pack. Excessive weight may cause pack to rupture or leak
• Discard ruptured or leaky packs (contents are non-toxic)
